In conjunction with Fight The Fight For Alex Fundraiser at GoFundMe, friends and relatives of Alex Lambert are also spearheading a charity event night entitled ‘Let’s Fight the Fight for Alex Charity Fundraiser’ on 25 June 2015 at Hotel Cessnock at 234 Wollombi Road, Cessnock NSW (the junction of Wollombi Road & Vincent Street).
The event, which starts at 6:30pm, will include live entertainment, charity auction canapés and refreshments with special guest MC.

Specialised Geo CEO Rachel Metcalf attended the newly formed NSW Underground Geotechnical Society’s inaugural meeting at UNSW School of Mining Engineering on February 25, 2015.
The whole day event was focused on Cable Bolting and its impact on business and current problems, and was sponsored by Mine Advice, Gordon Geotechniques, BBUGS, SG, Jennmar Australia, BASF and Megabolt.

The project involved rock scaling, vegetation clearing & embankment regrading, rock catch fence installation, rock doweling, shotcreting, rockfall meshing, installation of Vertical columns and disposal of unsuitable materials in the upper slope; and rock anchors installation, inclined drains, scour protection & slope stabilisation, guard rail removal, concrete road widening and disposal of unsuitable materials in the lower embankment.
